Group History

Family-owned industrial group which has been in business since the mid-18th century.

Vicinay Marine, S.L.U. was founded in July 2005 following the corporate restructuring of Vicinay, S.A. and is the parent company of the Group Vicinay Marine.

Nowadays is the world leader in design, innovation, manufacture and supply of mooring chains and line components for the wind, offshore and marine industries, adding to its activity engineering services, corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance for offshore and onshore structures.

With capacity to manufacture chains from 40 mm up to 220 mm in diameter and without restriction as to length or weight, Vicinay Marine can supply 80,000 tons per year in qualities R6, R5, R4S, R4, R3S, R3 and Grade 3 for the offshore and marine industries together with a wide variety of accessories in a wide range of qualities and sizes.

The company has industrial facilities in Spain, Sweden, Brazil and China, and a technological center (Vicinay Marine Innovacion), with an average workforce of 439 people. In addition to a commercial network spread all over the world.

To ensure that clients receive the best quality of service in all markets, all Vicinay Marine companies share the same safety and quality commitments.

The main sectors in which Vicinay Marine provides service are Oil & Gas, wind floating, naval, marine, energy, industrial, water engineering and so on. It has commercial presence of its products and services in more than 30 countries.
