Vicinay Marine Innovación, is the reference centre for R&D projects, technological services and innovative solutions for the supply of chains and mooring lines for the offshore industry within the Vicinay Marine group.
It is a member of the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network (RVCTI) as an agent in the speciality of Business R&D Unit, and its processes and services are certified under the UNE 166002 and ISO 9001 (R&D&I and Quality Management Systems, respectively).
Vicinay Marine Innovación provides value to the rest of Vicinay Marine subsidiaries and other companies in the Oil & Gas and Renewable Marine Energies market, through research, development and innovation engineering projects and services, following its values of Innovation and Creativity, Professionalism, Dynamism, Teamwork, Enthusiasm and Evolution.
Its main objectives are:
1. Improve existing products, processes and services within Vicinay Marine, as well as develop new ones.
2. To provide support to the Vicinay Marine’s companies and their clients in the research of aspects of interest related to mooring lines, ranging from research into new materials and techniques to ensure the integrity of structures and mooring lines, to research for the implementation of technological solutions for their installation, maintenance and repair, where applicable.
